Racial Discrimination and Cultural Diversity

The Anti-Racism and Cultural Diversity Office (ARCDO) within the Division of People Strategy, Equity & Culture, supports concerns or complaints of harassment and discrimination (direct and systemic) based on race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship and/or creed.

The University is committed to upholding the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. This Guideline describes what constitutes prohibited discrimination and discriminatory harassment and sets out a process for employees who are concerned that they have experienced discrimination and/or discriminatory harassment.

The University aspires to achieve an environment free of prohibited discrimination and harassment and to ensure respect for the core values of freedom of speech, academic freedom and freedom of research.

Sexual Violence and Harassment

The Sexual Violence Prevention and Support Centre helps and supports students, staff and faculty at the University of Toronto who have been affected by sexual violence or sexual harassment.
