Having a personal background in software development and completed a regional anesthesia fellowship at Toronto Western Hospital in 2016, I’ve been given the opportunity to combine these passions in providing ongoing education in perioperative and regional anesthesia ultrasound to both residents and anesthesia colleagues at Scarborough Rouge Hospital.  I serve as a regional anesthesia ultrasound instructor at the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Annual Meeting having recently taught in Chicago (2016) and Boston (2017).  I also participate as a faculty member at the annual TWH Regional Anesthesia Workshop where I share my expertise in ultrasound guided regional anesthesia.

Since becoming anesthesia staff at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital (Centenary Site) in 2016, I’ve been appointed as head of the Anesthesia CME committee.  I’m responsible for development of our continuing medical education curriculum as well as the creation of a centenary anesthesia website which has further strengthened departmental education and communication.  I also serve as a committee member on the Scarborough and Rouge Hospital IM/IT Advisory Committee where I provide advice and support in the planning and execution of Information Technology projects at our facility.
