Dr. Daniel McIsaac
Topic: Frailty for the Perioperative Physician: Identification, Optimization and Future Directions
Dr. Daniel McIsaac is an Anesthesiologist at the Ottawa Hospital. He completed his medical training at the University of Dalhousie, and completed his Anesthesia training at the University of Ottawa in 2014. Dr. McIsaac is highly involved in multi-center trials, and was a recent recipient of the CIHR Grant for the PREPARE Trials. His trials look at the prehabilitation and its effect on post-op outcomes in the elderly. He also serves as the Junior Research Chair in Perioperative Health Systems and outcomes at the University of Ottawa.
