Dallas Duncan

Dr. Duncan completed his master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of British Columbia before moving to Toronto to complete his residency in Anesthesiology. He went on to complete a clinical fellowship in Cardiovascular Anesthesia and Critical Care. During his training, he published several high-impact systematic reviews, under the mentorship of Dr. Wijeysundera. His research focus is in optimizing the perioperative care of patients, specifically those with cardiovascular disease, by identifying and evaluating interventions to reduce perioperative cardiovascular complications. His current research program is aimed at optimizing the treatment of intraoperative hypotension with the use of advanced hemodynamic monitors.
