Anesthesia Interest Group
During the 2007-2008 academic year, two second year students, Julie Mathew and Robert Bechamp, developed the Anesthesia Interest Group. This group was developed to enable medical students at the University of Toronto with an interest in Anesthesia to explore our specialty.
Formal events with faculty discussing our specialty and other topics of interest to our students have been and are continuing to be organized. As well, our residents have been involved with informal events with our students. Workshops on intravenous cannulation and airway management are being developed.
