Answers 3 and 4 are not appropriate in that they are either impractical, unreliable, or take too long to implement in an emergency setting.
Answer 1, use of a nasopharyngeal airway, would not be expected to offer a great advantage over the oral airway already in place.
Answer 2, use of an LMA of some sort, is the best answer here.
