Dr. Evelyn Bateman Award	For excellence in anesthesia at the undergraduate level presented at Shields Day
Dr. David Bevan Award	For the best poster at the Annual Shields Research Day presented at Shields Day
A. C. Bryan Award	Graduate student judged to have the best presentations at the Annual Shields Research Day
R. J. Byrick Award	For best paper by a fellow.
Dr. Alan W. Conn Graduate Award	Awarded to post-graduate trainee in Masters or Ph.D. program
Dr. John Desmond Award	For excellence in undergraduate teaching.
Dr. Gerald Edelist Award	For excellence in postgraduate teaching.

New Faculty Teaching Award	The award for the best oral and best poster presentation at Faculty Development Day.
OSOTF Graduate Student Awards	The UT Department of Anesthesia is able to offer a funding program for graduate students (MSc or PhD) whose primary supervisor is a full-time faculty member in the UT Department of Anesthesia.
Residents and Fellows Tuition Awards	For residents and fellows who can best demonstrate the relationship of graduate studies to their chosen career path.
Hynek Rothbart Award	For best resident paper at Shields Research Day.
UT Anesthesia Award for Clinical Excellence	For excellent clinical skills (Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine) and consistent demonstration of exemplary patient service.
UT Anesthesia Faculty Research Award	For contribution to research in anesthesia.
